Self-Discovery Through IFS

Using IFS towards meaningful self-discovery and self-acceptance.

A Coaching Plan that’s right for you

My work with you prioritizes feeling curious, exploratory, brave, and ready to be met anywhere you are.

I support clients in blending practical tools with meaningful self-discovery and self-acceptance, always meeting people where they are, and going at a pace that feels both comfortable and courageous. I work with people across identity, profession, and lifestyle to bring lives into alignment with their values, dreams, and overall positive change.

I do this using the IFS model to resolve inner conflicts, identify vision, purpose, and drive, and develop inner leadership.

I have a specialty working with people who are (or want to be) agents of change and contribution. From movement organizers to engineers, veterans to students, scientists and artists who are dedicated to anti-oppression and seeking support in creating principled and courageous action in their lives and community. My style of coaching facilitates a deep commitment to greater self understanding that is rooted in the practice of compassion, facing challenges, and working toward a vision aligned with your values.

Together we will explore your goals, uncover strengths, and reveal inner resources to discover a foundation that will carry us through our work together.

From there we will develop insight and create a safe and secure environment for those who want to work deeply with themselves and are committed to lasting transformation.

Let’s go from planning into action.

Meet Your IFS Coach: Aman

I’m a queer+trans brown carribean dude of multiple diasporas living and working in Oakland, California (chochenyo/huichin land).

Born and raised on military bases throughout the south, I have special interests in understanding systems of power and values, belonging, and identity. My core values are compassion, honesty, and liberation. I am equal parts ACAB and AuDHD.

I’ve been a chef, an astrologer, a writer, a youth advocate, and a corporate cog. Of all the things I’ve done coaching is my favorite.

Some of my favorite things include:

  • Rivers

  • Neutrinos and quarks

  • TTRPGs

  • Camping

  • Lineage research

  • Jigsaw puzzles

If I’m not coaching, I’m probably working on a jigsaw puzzle, kayaking any number of California’s beautiful lakes, deep diving on ancestral practices, or up to something wonderfully nerdy.
